Finder Keeper is a dating app built exclusively for people who are ready for a serious, long-term commitment. Inspired by the swipe mechanic of modern dating apps, it goes further - making identity verification mandatory before any match or conversation can begin.
Designed for users who are done with casual encounters and ready to find a life partner, the app combines familiar swipe-based matching with a fully verified community, transparent safety controls, and a warm, human-centred experience from first screen to first conversation. My work covered the full product and brand design across 63 screens for iOS, including onboarding, identity verification, matching, messaging, and safety flows.

Design a dating app that genuinely serves people seeking marriage - filtering for intent and trust without making the experience feel cold, clinical, or bureaucratic.
The challenge was to turn mandatory identity verification into a feature users want, not a hurdle they resent - while building a complete, polished product that rivals the ease and familiarity of mainstream dating apps, but with a fundamentally different purpose at its core.

Researched the unmet needs of commitment-focused dating app users and identified trust, intent signalling, and safety as the three core design pillars
Designed the full onboarding flow including Facebook and phone number authentication, OTP verification, and email confirmation
Built the account setup experience — personal details, passions, photo upload, identity verification, and location permissions — as a guided, low-friction sequence
Designed profile cards and the swiping experience with match confirmation states and a "No Matches Left" empty state
Created the full messaging suite including chat list, conversation view, voice call, and video call screens
Designed safety-first features including profile reporting, safety concern settings, and user control over their verified status
Designed premium engagement features — Unlimited Rewind, Special Likes, and Boost Profile
Established a warm, rich visual identity using a deep brown and amber palette that feels intimate and trustworthy
